Kuala Lumpur, March 6, 2017: “I can’t offer knowledge to people, but I can provide the platform for it.”

Armed with this belief, ARA Partners founder, Adzhar Yaman has been steadily chugging along ever since he decided to make that leap of faith into the event and training venue business.

Adzhar, 34, believes that by providing affordable space for trainers to share their knowledge, it will provide more opportunities for people to learn and appreciate knowledge better.

“I have a deep passion for knowledge, but I am not able to provide it. However I can provide the platform, the facilities for trainers to share their knowledge,” Adzhar told NewStreamAsia.

ARA Partners provides minimalist concept event venues that keep their rates affordable.

Set up over two years ago, ARA Partners is a start-up company specialising in providing venue and facilities for entrepreneurship training programs.

“I’ve trained people from young men and women to the not so young. That is when I learned that not everyone appreciates knowledge, but once they realise that knowledge is important, they will start to value it,”he said.

Other than providing affordable rates, he believes that a conducive facility is important to get the best of the training sessions and seminars.

Q: Is there any specific theme for the event hall that your company prefers?

A: We maintain the lounge style with a minimalist concept and that is what most of our clients prefer.

Q: How do you manage to make your services affordable?

A: We go by a lean management process in our business and that translates to cost saved which is then passed on to our clients who enjoy affordable rates.

Adzhar said Ara’s affordable service rates is good for business due to the current economic slowdown.

“In ARA, we focus more on how we can help clients deliver their training by providing the same services that others offer but with more affordable rates.”

Ara said profits remain good even with “freebies” thrown in the form of added facilities and services.

Free additional features which the company provides are free WiFi services, parking space, flipcharts, HD projectors, public address (P.A.) system and many more.

Currently ARA’s event venues are located at Gaya Melawati in Taman Melawati and at The Atmosphere in Seri Kembangan.

Q: What are your company’s future plans?

A: Right now my team is focusing on a data tracking application that we are planning to launch soon. With this app, our clients can track the progress of their training programmes, share relevant information with their participants, receive feedbacks and so on.

Q: Any expansion plan outside Malaysia?

A: We are planning to provide training exchange programmes with Indonesia once we set up several branches in that region.
