Kuala Lumpur, 09 July – Global c information security solutions provider SearchInform has expanded its presence in Southeast Asia with the opening of its Kuala Lumpur office, marking a new step in its development strategy in Malaysia.
The new office will provide closer support to Malaysian organisations, partners and customers.

The event held on July 3, brought together more than 90 partners, customers and information security experts from Malaysian system integrators, technology partners, managed security service providers and enterprise customers, such as REDtone, CLL Systems, Cogniva, IT Essentials and iPlanet Solution.

SearchInform is strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia to help local organizations improve data protection and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The company’s portfolio includes DLP, DCAP, and SIEM systems, as well as a Next-Gen DLP solution with an integrated AI Assistant.

SearchInform Founder Lev Matveev said that the launch of the local office marks an important step in the company’s long-term development strategy in Malaysia:

“By establishing a local presence in Kuala Lumpur, we aim to provide not only advanced software, but also continuous support for partners and customers throughout the entire journey: from consulting and testing to implementation and everyday use.

“We also plan to actively develop our presence in the country through local events, partner PR support, and both offline and online training programs for information security professionals,” he said in his welcome speech.

The program continued with a presentation by Francis Yeoh, Country Director for Malaysia, who outlined the key advantages of SearchInform software, introduced the partner program, and presented the company’s plans for further development in the region.

SearchInform’s regional partners commented on the Malaysian cybersecurity market, the company’s solutions, and prospects for future cooperation.

Yap Ming Sern, CEO of IT Essentials (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, said the company attended the event to learn more about SearchInform’s latest advancements in insider threat mitigation, data loss prevention and risk management analytics, adding that its clients rely on the company to source top-tier, proactive security solutions amid Malaysia’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

“The event exceeded our expectations, providing clear and practical insights into how SearchInform bridges workforce productivity monitoring and deep data protection, which is precisely what modern enterprises need.

“The demand for robust information security solutions in Malaysia is at an all-time high and will only continue to accelerate. With stricter compliance mandates around the Personal Data Protection Act and the rise of digital workforce vulnerabilities, organizations can no longer afford to overlook internal risks.

“As SearchInform tackles the human factor of security so effectively, offering deep visibility into data flows without disrupting business operations, I expect local market interest in its products to remain exceptionally strong,” he added.

At the end of the program, SearchInform held individual discussions with potential partners. More than 20 companies expressed their readiness to integrate SearchInform solutions into their cybersecurity portfolios and begin pilot deployments with key customers.
