PETALING JAYA 11 MAY 2017: AVANA, a technology company with innovative social commerce solutions to bridge the gap between discovery and purchase on social media, has introduced E-commerce into Facebook Messenger for all its tens of thousands merchants with its newly launched feature called AVANA Messenger Store.
AVANA is the first company in Malaysia to offer Messenger store that allows customers to browse, shop and pay within Messenger. Merchants can also track their inventory and manage their orders from multiple sales channels in a centralized dashboard.
AVANA enables its merchants to sell easily on multiple sales channels such as Facebook store, Webstore, Blogs, Twitter and take order via social media comments. They now have an additional channel to reach their customers via Messenger store. Instead of just a channel for communication and customer support between merchant and customer, customers can now chat, browse, shop and pay within Messenger.
“We work closely with our merchants to understand how they interact with their customers and their customers’ behaviours when making online purchases in Malaysia. Based on their feedback, we discovered that most purchases are preceded with conversation and introducing Messenger store allows customers to easily make their purchase once they have interacted with the merchant. This channel will pave the way for the introduction of an AI-driven conversation commerce platform in the near future.” said Luqman Adris, CEO of AVANA.
AVANA works closely with the Facebook team to empower Malaysian entrepreneurs with thelatest Facebook best practices for E-commerce.
