Imagine seashell shaped pendants made of glossy pewter surface and accented with an assortment of brilliant SWAROVSKI® ELEMENTS crystals. It sounds like a dream, doesn’t it? That’s exactly what Royal Selangor has in store with the latest unveiling of its Pink collection: a collection of personal accessories for women.
Pink is made of different shades of coloured crystals – from clear to light and dark pink. The shapes of the limited edition pieces from Pink are derived from seashells, a universal symbol of rebirth. The large pewter pendant and key fob resemble the shape of a scallop shell while the smaller pendant takes its cue from a mussel.
Proceeds from Pink will go towards the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA). Till date, Royal Selangor has contributed more than RM65,000 to the association as a result of sales proceeds.
“The support received for the Pink collection, which was launched in 2014, has been very encouraging and we hope to continue raising funds for BCWA through the sales of this collection,” said Executive Director of Royal Selangor International, Yong Yoon Li.
“Over the years, Royal Selangor’s support has reaped many benefits for BCWA in helping to reduce the risk of women dying at a young age due to breast cancer through our community outreach early detection services. At the same time, BCWA continues to improve the quality of life for women with breast cancer through psychosocial support services and survivorship activities. We look forward to the continuity of this invaluable corporate social support from Royal Selangor,” said President of BCWA, Ranjit Kaur.
