The Covid-19 pandemic affecting the world has also affected the way zakat (tithe) is paid. The various SOPs which need to be adhered to has changed the way organisations pay their zakat which is via online.
Thus Tulus which is a Syariah guided app developed by Tulus Digital Sdn Bhd (Tulus Digital), has provided an opportunity for Muslims to make their charity payments.
Executive Chairman of Tulus Digital, Datuk Dr. Mohd Daud Bakar, said the mobile app provides an easy digital payment platform for users, wherever they are and whenever by incorporating all Islamic organizations that include zakat, wakaf, infaq and alms payment services.

Tulus Digital also provides payment for QR code scanning through the SnapNPay application which can be used for the payment of zakat fitrah for all the states listed above, including the state of Perak.

According to Dr. Mohd Daud, the company is optimistic in helping between 800,000 and 1,000,000 Muslims in paying their zakat obligations for this year’s Ramadan.
