Kuala Lumpur, 7 June 2022 – Glomac’s hillside residence project, simply known as Ruma 33, has been fully taken up since its launch in December 2021 – an indication of favourable demand for quality homes among property buyers.

With a gross development value (GDV) of approximately RM28.5 million, this double storey terrace house project is situated in Saujana Sungai Buloh, a mature sub-urban residential area within greater Klang Valley.

Scheduled to be completed in 2023, the 33-unit homes is priced from RM669,000 and situated only 25km away from the city centre Kuala Lumpur. It is also located nearby major highways for easier access.

Despite talks on softening property market, due to the aftermath of COVID-19 that has affected buyers’ overall purchasing power, Group Chief Operating Officer Zulkifly Garib pointed out there is, in fact, a surge in demand for quality homes, particularly landed, with bigger space.

“COVID-19 has significantly altered our lifestyle. Many now prefer to stay at home rather than spending time outside. More people are also working from home. As a result of this, we are seeing higher demand for bigger and better quality landed properties,” he said.

With a floor space built-up from 2,222 to 2,245 sqf, all Ruma 33 houses come with dual façade design – where each unit will have two beautiful frontage, providing beautiful view and spacious surroundings.

For this year, the company plans to launch several new projects, which include double storey homes in Saujana KLIA as well as Rumah Selangorku homes at Glomac Lakeside Residence in Puchong.
