CSM and KDDI Malaysia Forge Alliance to Strengthen Information Security Landscape

KUALA LUMPUR, April 25, 2024 – Cyber Security Malaysia (CSM) and KDDI Malaysia Sdn Bhd announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed to deepen and enhance collaboration of capabilities in IT and cybersecurity. The MOU signing ceremony took place at the Menara Cyber Axis (Cyber Axis Tower).  

The strategic alliance between CSM and KDDI Malaysia Sdn Bhd signifies a pivotal step towards fostering mutual growth and innovation in cybersecurity solutions. Through this partnership by leveraging each other’s strengths and expertise, both entities aim to explore new avenues for synergy and collectively address emerging cybersecurity threats and challenges.

The MOU signing ceremony was attended by key representatives from both Datuk Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin Abdul Wahab FASc, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CyberSecurity Malaysia and KDDI Malaysia Managing Director Miki Sawabe and Embassy of Japan Deputy Chief of Mission, Atsushi Karimata, underscoring the commitment of both organizations to the partnership’s success. Moving forward, CSM and KDDI Malaysia are poised to embark on a collaborative journey marked by innovation, excellence, and a shared commitment to advancing cybersecurity capabilities.
