Kuala Lumpur, 1 April 2024 – Kapital DX Sdn Bhd (KLDX), an innovative multi-asset fundraising and investment platform, is pleased to announce the issuance of its first product, a RM150 million tokenised primary offering of a shariah-compliant fixed income product (i-INT Programme) by Integra Healthcare Technology Sdn Bhd (Integra).
The Programme offers a compelling 5-year tenor with an enticing profit rate of up to 10% annually. Tranche 1 of the i-INT Programme, amounting to RM 29 million, has been fully subscribed through institutional participation.
This groundbreaking venture marks a major milestone for both KLDX and the Malaysian capital markets landscape, showcasing the transformative potential of blockchain technology in the realm of fundraising and investment. Through blockchain technology, KLDX enables fractional ownership of a wide array of assets, making private market investments accessible to a wider audience. This strategic move is designed to bridge the funding gap for growth to late-stage companies, facilitate project financing, and expand the range of available asset classes through tokenisation.
Selvarany Rasiah, Founder and CEO of KLDX, expressed excitement about the historic issuance, stating, “We are pleased to welcome Integra, our inaugural product for KLDX. This issuance not only reflects KLDX’s dedication in shaping Malaysia’s asset tokenisation landscape but also demonstrates our commitment to supporting impactful projects that benefit the community. Our platform is designed to catalyse economic growth by facilitating accessible, efficient fundraising for businesses, and at the same time, offering investors a gateway to diverse, high-yield private market assets. We are committed to fostering a vibrant ecosystem where businesses can thrive on robust investments and where investors can achieve superior returns, thereby driving mutual prosperity in our economy.‘’
“We also like to extend our appreciation to the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) for their progressive approach in facilitating and ensuring a regulated environment for innovative platforms like KLDX,” she added.
Integra, a healthcare solutions provider, develops, owns and manages specialist rehabilitation and healthcare centres. Its first flagship rehabilitation facility achieved a remarkable 75% occupancy rate within 9 months of becoming operational, showcasing Integra’s dedication to excellence. With a long-term service agreement in place to operate rehabilitation centres, Integra is now raising funds to set up four (4) new rehabilitation centres.
“We are pleased to partner with KLDX for this historic milestone in the Malaysian financial landscape. The i-INT Programme represents a significant step forward for Integra as we continue our mission to expand access to rehabilitation services for a broader community. The support and collaboration from KLDX underscore their commitment to innovative and impactful projects, and we look forward to a successful journey together”, Dr. Nor Azira Ismail, CEO of Integra, remarked enthusiastically.
